This one day workshop is for artists of all levels seeking a highly charged look into the world of acrylics and what is new, changing and cutting edge.

This workshop is a fun, fast-paced and informative presentation that includes technical, experimental and hands on applications. Heavy body, fluid, OPEN and the new Hi Flow acrylics will be covered. Students will learn about a variety of acrylic Mediums: GELS, PASTES, AGGREGATES (GRITS) AND MORE to create surface texture, alter consistency and extend and economize your paints.  Sample boards will be created.

Artists of all levels will come away from this one day workshop with new information and fresh ideas for self creative expression.

Incredibly flexible, Golden High Flow Acrylics have an ink-like consistency that lends itself to a wide range of techniques — painting, drawing, staining, glazing, inking, hand-lettering, spraying, and more. Learn how they can be used  from airbrush to dip pen, from paintbrush to refillable marker. Play, experiment and learn how these new acrylics can only enhance your work and find out how they flexible and they are.  A must have in your art tool kit.

All materials provided and included in the workshop fee.  Students will take home all samples created in this workshop.  Students should bring a notebook for notes.
