I have taken a number of classes with Maureen and what I have learned from her has had a profound impact on my work. Maureen has extensive knowledge of the principles and elements of design, composition and color theory, as well as a comprehensive understanding of a variety of mediums. She conveys the subject matter in a way that is fun to learn and easy to understand. I feel that Maureen’s classes are among the most valuable I have taken. She has helped me to work more spontaneously and has given me the courage to take risks, knowing that “there’s always another layer.” ~ Mary Beth
